Our Year 11 students have received their GCSE results and we are delighted that our overall pass rate of 5 A* - C grades this year was 59%. This is 12% higher than last year and represents our best ever GCSE results.

End of Term Arrangements

School will finish for students at 12:35 on Wednesday. Any student who is entitled to Free School Meals should inform their form tutor if they require a packed lunch at 12:35. School resumes for Year 12 and Year 7 students on Friday 3rd September. Students in all other years return on Monday 6th September.

50th Anniversary Update

We have now fixed a date to mark our 50th birthday, which will be Saturday 4th July. This event will feature a wide range of school artefacts, photographs and memorabilia, alongside a chance for former students to see how the school has changed and developed. The following week, an exhibition about the school will open at Peterborough museum, and plans are underway to finalise the exact details of the exhibits.

Young Chamber Launched at OLS

Following the success of last year’s performance we are again presenting a ‘Night of the Musicals’ in an all-new show. Once again Mr Prentice has led this production, with able support from Nick Goodchild and Georgia Pike in Year 13. The show features students from all years, as well as a sprinkle of staff, and includes many of your favourite show tunes.
