GCSE Applied Business Double award
At KS4 we offer the Applied Business double award, this is worth two GCSEs. The specification allows students to develop knowledge and understanding of a range of businesses and how they operate in our economy.
The specification consists of 3 units of work, two of which are portfolio assessed and one an external exam. Each unit is worth one third of the final qualification.
Level 2 OCR National in ICT
This ICT course has been developed to recognise student’ skills, knowledge and understanding of Information and Communication Technology functions, environments and operations. They have been designed to accredit candidates’ achievements in a modern and
practical way that is relevant to the workplace. They are work-related qualifications which will support progression to an NVQ once a candidate is in the workplace. It is possible for some students to achieve two grades in this subject.
