Open Evening & At Home Week

Orton Longueville School would like to invite you to our Open Evening on Monday 12th October, 2009.  The evening will begin with a presentation in our main hall by our Headteacher, Mr Nash, and our Prefects will then take you on a tour of our school.  Each department will present activities that give a flavour of what we have to offer and last year this included online quizzes, exploding bubbles, dance displays, loud rock music, masked drama performance and lollipops!

We promise a warm welcome, and a chance to find out more about our school to help you make the best choice for 2010.  The evening begins at 6:30pm, and will be followed by a tour.

If you are unable to attend, or would also like to visit the school during a typical day, then we will also be open for visitors from Thursday 15^th – Tuesday 20th October.  Each day we will welcome parents and students from our local primary schools to offer a tour of the school, as well as a chance to meet with members of our School Leadership Team, including the Headteacher.  If you would like to visit us, please arrive at the school from 9:30am as tours will begin at 9:45am.  It would help with our planning arrangements if you could let us know which day you plan to visit, by calling our school reception on 368300.

In order to support our colleagues in local primary schools we have allocated each school to a different day.  You are of course welcome to visit on any day if it is convenient.
